LiberArte Presents Open Call for Noche Andina

Queens, NY – August 31, 2025 — LiberArte Inc. is proud to announce an open call for artists and cultural bearers to participate in Noche Andina, taking place on Saturday, December 7, 2025 in New York City.

Wayra, the Quechua word for “wind,” inspires the theme for this year’s gathering: a symbol of memory, migration, and resistance. Noche Andina will be a powerful space for honoring ancestral knowledge, celebrating cultural pride, and revitalizing intertribal and interregional connections among Andean Indigenous communities in the diaspora.

We welcome proposals from artists rooted in or inspired by the Andean region to join this unforgettable evening of performance, poetry, ritual, food, and collective memory.

🪕 Who We're Looking For:

  • Musicians, dancers, visual artists, storytellers, craft-makers, spiritual leaders, and other tradition-keepers
  • Artists and cultural workers with roots in Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, northern Chile, northern Argentina, and Venezuela’s Andean region
  • Projects can be traditional, contemporary, or a blend—especially those affirming identity, heritage, and collective memory

🎭 Event Structure:

  • A multidisciplinary showcase integrating music, poetry, gastronomy, and audience interaction
  • A living archive of ancestral wisdom and a platform for interregional community building
